Set the crossbars and bike rack up on the GTI tonight, with a quick jaunt to Target to make sure everything was secure. Obligatory nighttime potato picture.

Yep! And the roof rack and mount all held up great. The bike is in serious need of a tune-up, but today was the test for the rack.

This morning on my way to work I saw a GTI with a bike rack, a fancy carbon fiber road bike, a bunch of marathon & triathlon stickers, and a couple Notre Dame stickers.

Then I thought to myself, “fuck that asshole.”

(Road biking and doing triathlons is fine but I hate those stupid 26.2 stickers and there should be a special place in hell reserved for the people who display them on their vehicles.)
